All devices have been distributed to all the schools.  All students will have access to their own FRSU#38 issued device to ensure appropriate and equitable access to any form of remote learning.

You can use keyboard shortcuts to complete tasks quickly.  To SEARCH FOR A KEYWORD on a page, press CTRL + F

3. Tap the capture button, which looks like a grey and white circle surronded by a blue line.

You can adjust the photo settings to suit your preferences.

"I can't sign into my chromebook."

If you continue to have trouble, let us know if there are any error messages and we can help with additional checks.

"I can't hear any sounds."

Sometimes users accidentally mute their sound. To check for this try:

"My microphone is not working." "My camera is not working." 

Change a site's camera & microphone permissions

When you first access a service that requires a microphone, (Talk & Type),  a white box panel that will appear at the top left that will give permission for the service to access your microphone. If you don't do that, log out of her chromebook, log back in, and try again. 

If that doesn't work, reset the Chrome settings to default.

If neither of these solutions work, submit a ticket at stating the chromebook microphone is not working and needs repair.

"I can't see the whole webpage."

Users can quickly change their Chromebooks resolution by using the following key combinations:

Users can change resolution and change other display options by going into the Display settings page:

"How do I print to my home printer?"

School chromebooks and laptops can connect to home wireless printers by locating and selecting the printer from your list.  If you do not see your home printer in the list, click here for a list of supported cloud print Printers from Google

For step by step directions:

"The website doesn't work (blocked)."

Disable UBlock

Step 1: Locate and click UBlock icon in the top right corner of your Browser. 

Step 2: Click the blue power button to toggle the blocker off.  Refresh your page and the blocked content will now load.

"My Chromebook is in another language."
